About to enjoy 3 things I enjoy. 1). A freshly brewed 100% Columbian 8 OClock coffee 2). Boston Creme donut and 3). A glazed Apple Fritter. Scooted out at about 6:45 so I could get to Market Basket before the rush. In & out was a breeze and I found the sweet spot on the coffee grinder to grind my fresh beans. Pulled back into the lot and let out a gasp as I approached the spot where I park. Yupp, you guessed it Shaky the Shitbird was out on the steps in his winter adornment. He attempted conversation, but I just breezed right on past. I did answer his question of What are you doing up so early...just heading out or just getting in? with Just getting in, supply run to be civil...but I am entrenched and ready for that coffee with a splash of half n half. Dismal, gray, rainy and cold here at the base of Mount Monadnock...but it is above freezing....barely :) The 1/8 inch fingertip top slice has finally stopped cracking open and is starting to heal naturally...its going to be a good day :)
