About two hours ago, the head of Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the June 25 bombing of Lagos State. Prior to this claim by Boko Haram, the car bomb attack was known to the Yoruba leaders as an attack from the Ibo community in Yorubaland on the Yoruba nation. Immediately confirmation came that the attack was carried out by the Ibo, a high power meeting was scheduled between the leadership of the Yoruba nation and that of the Ibo. The Ibo leaders were shocked Yoruba leaders blamed them for the attack and warned of a reprisal. The Ibo leaders insisted then that the attack must have been carried out by the Gambari as they alleged a woman wearing Hijab was seen running away from the scene after the first car bomb went off. The narratives so far mainly from the Ibo propaganda network before todays claim by Boko Haram have been that of: 1. Petrol Tanker Explosion 2. Fire Explosion It took the ingenuity of the Yoruba Youths, who witnessed the explosion and insisted the attack was a car bomb explosion before the Ibo, State Department Lagos and the Federal Government accepted it was a car bomb. In Boko Haram statement today claiming responsibility for the attack on Yorubaland, its leader said in a video that: A bomb went off in Lagos, I ordered the bomber who went and detonated it. You said it was a fire, well, if you hide it from people, you cant hide it from Allah. Take note of Shekaus statement again, particularly where he said: You said it was a fire, well, if you hide it from people, you cant hide it from Allah. This statement is a give away that the Boko Haram who claimed responsibility for the bomb in Lagos is the Ibo franchise version of the original Boko Haram. There is the Original Boko Haram, led by the Yusufu members; the Political Boko Haram, being used by the Hausa/Fulani leaders to get back to Aso Rock and the Ibo Boko Haram, established perhaps by the last Ibo Chief of Army Staff. The claim today by Ibo Boko Haram, is nothing but a distraction for the Yoruba Youths and a propaganda to fool the Yoruba leadership. Boko Haram members have attacked Kogi State more than twice, but on no account did they attack Okunland, the Yoruba part of the state. The only condition under which the real Boko Haram will attack an inch of Yorubaland is when they can no longer use the APC as a vehicle for the Gambari presidency or if and when the Gambari loses the presidency to Mr Jonathan. To todays claim from Boko Haram (Original, Hausa/Fulani or Ibo Boko Haram), it is increasingly clear that the Yoruba nation is under attack from more than two fronts -Hausa/Fulani and the Ibo. Hausa/Fulani has a 150,000-strong rebel army in Niger Republic and Sudan, undergoing training under international coalition armed with high-quality weaponry, and would march on Abuja with air cover by Britain and America to prevent Nigeria from breaking up any time soon. Ibo are working with America and Britain, planning for a possible intervention scenario to prevent Nigeria from dividing. Gambari and Ibo are allies, but the Yoruba Youths with a strong will and determination can defeat them.
