About two years ago I got up one morning to go to work, and something happened that felt like I was having a heart attack. I drove myself to the emergency room, and found out that one of my lungs have collapsed. They found that acid reflux had gotten sucked into my lungs and had damaged many of the fibers within my lungs. As a result I have battled a lot of breathing problems, and the medicine that I had to take & some I had to breathe in daily, completely messed up my throat and vocal chords...ultimately preventing me from being able to sing. Although Im not back to normal, I am very thankful to say that I do not have to take any medicine on a daily basis anymore, and my lungs are getting stronger again. I can tell my voice is starting to come back and get stronger as well. I recorded this little clip the other day at the house and it feels good to be able to do it again....my all-time favorite country singer ever, George Jones.
