Above the bare minimum (218) needed to prevent the Democrats from electing the House Speaker, theres no particular advantage to having dozens of extra Republicans in the U.S. House. Given that there are currently ~30 more Republicans than are needed to prevent Democrat control of the U.S. House, is it time for us to consider actively scuttling selected Republican legislators? By scuttling, I mean identifying a few Republicans for ouster from office in the primary if possible--but in November, if necessary. The GOP establishment is clearly willing to scuttle grassroots candidates they dislike in November. Is it time the grassroots returned the favor? Why or why not?
