Abs are one of the main things fitness lovers focus on. Unless you are a genetic freak or very low body fat (Under 10% for men and under 15% for women), chances are your abdominals will not show. Dont let this bring you. I have never had visible abs, people always assume I do but trust me I definitely dont! I struggled with this for a long time, thinking abs were a measure of your fitness. This is totally wrong. Focusing on your progression in the weight room by how much you are lifting is much better/easier on your state of mind. I now dont really care about abs! Focusing on how good my squats are and how much over my bodyweight I can deadlift is more fun I promise. Eat, Lift have fun.
