Absolutely NOT acceptable to come into a restaurant 20 minutes before closing and sit at a table chatting and playing with your phone not knowing what your ordering. Then to ask your waitress after were closed are we going to get kicked out?. That waitress cant say what they would like to! They would like to tell you how inconsiderate you are to even ask that. That waitress , cook, dishwasher and manager have been on their feet for 7-10 or more hours. Then to stay 1/2 hour after closing chatting and leave $2.50 tip is insane. Do you like good service? This isnt the way to get it! That waitress stayed an extra hour for 5$ an hour if their lucky. They all have familys or another job to go to. Think about what you are doing to others. By the way, I remembered that you are a bad tipper from the last time I waited on you. We do remember how you treat us!!
