Grabbed a few more sentimental items today which was great but got out fairly quickly as in the space of 30 minutes, 5 fire trucks went screaming through the town with lights and sirens blaring. More bloody heat and scary times lay ahead over the next few days with very hot temps predicted. Looters came to the town and attempted to steal on Saturday morning until locals found them and dealt with them. Feeling extremely relieved and blessed so far. Hope it stays this way throughout the week. In awe of the emergency services personnel and what they have saved. Awesome work guys.
