Absolutely grand spot on article. Does a great job of pointing out the different ways that our animals think of things. Spite is one of those human issues, not a pet one. Cats especially get blamed for that a great deal, people understand anxiety in dogs a great deal more than they used to but cats still get a bad rap. Cats adore a stable scent environment - new scents require new marking in the world of most cats, especially territorial cats ! Urinating outside of the box can be a sign of separation anxiety in cats as well.
