Absolutely one of the best few minutes Ive seen on the topic of stereotyping and vilifying Muslims by default in western media. This is dangerous because it shapes perceptions, drives policy, and impacts the lives of thousands of American citizens, who manifest their worship of God through sacred traditions different in the predominant view of the talking heads. Open yourself to the fact that YOU are more than a caricature of your religious traditions. Every religion has been used by evil people to justify horrible atrocities, there are places where Christianity is still viewed through a Len that includes The Crusades. Fair? Is it fair to judge your neighbor, or the population of Indonesia, by the strict sharia law imposed by the royal family in Saudi Arabia or the butchers of ISIL? (who are not our problem, btw).
