Absolutely shocking whats happening in Gaza. More than six hundred civilians killed. Its hard for me to believe that Hamas can be so cynical as to keep the war going, when just one sentence, We accept the Egyptian peace plan and call an immediate cease-fire, would stop it. They are deliberately doing what they can to get their own people, those who they claim they are fighting for, killed. Hiding behind the civilian population is cowardly, and its common among all irregular fighting forces. The strategy is to make the enemy commit so many atrocities that international opinión swings the irregulars way. Meanwhile, theyve got their own people terrorized; anyone who steps out of line is lynched as a collaborator with the enemy.
