Absolutely the best 24 hours I have had in a long time. Saw so many family members - lots of sweet nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews. Brothers, sister-in-law, mom. WONDERFUL scrimmage at the football field. SO proud of Deric Stacy and Peyton Bird. AND it was like a reunion at Maes Meat Market. Wonderful food and wonderful fellowship. Lots of my family - plus Kay Plowman Riffle, Karen Plowman. Kevin Plowman, James Doyle, Lonnie Doyle, Ruby Hull, Claudia Bulgerin Hurst, Loretta Bulgerin, E.t. Bradley and his family. And then last minute saw Chris Frost Whiddon. her husband, son and grandson. Could not have asked for a better 24 hours. Then sat by the pool at Phillip H. Arther and Sherry Carey Arther house with all of the kids. Ate yellow watermelon by the pool, enjoyed watching the kids and listening to them laugh. OH - and before I left. Got Mary Jane Batts sheets changed...he, he, he! Then got back to Fort Worth and even had time for a quick happy hour with my special friends - home now and about to go to bed. I have a lot to do in the next 48 hours. But I cant remember the last time I had such a good time in Eastland. Spontaneous is good. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Thane/Bubba/Dad
