Abuse of ancient Macedonian history in a contemporary FYROM textbook for 8th grade elementary school (age 14-15): this video from a debate features Ksenofon Ugrinovski (in the middle), author of the textbook for the school subject Civil society and it is related to his definition (not mentioned in this video excerpt) that citizens must obey the government and give up their freedoms to do so. What is interesting is that he illustrates consequences of disloyalty to authorities in that school textbook by quoting a speech of Alexander the Great, thus instilling notion in impressionable mind of pupils that he is, in effect, their historical person:
