Acabei de ler esta erase na Scientific American e discordo completamente "Most recent studies depict mind wandering as a costly cognitive failure with relatively few benefits" Ainda bem que o artigo continua e cita que "mind wandering" (em bom português = ficar "viajando") pode ter como benefícios: self- awareness, creative incubation, improvisation and evaluation, memory consolidation, autobiographical planning, goal driven thought, future planning, retrieval of deeply personal memories, reflective consideration of the meaning of events and experiences, simulating the perspective of another person, evaluating the implications of self and others’ emotional reactions, moral reasoning, and reflective compassion Ah sim, mas mesmo assim é uma atividade com alto custo e pouco benefício? Tá bom, só se for no seu teste burro de Q.I. Comentários?
