Academic Retrospection! Political Neutrality relates to the stand of any political unit in public administration to implement laws, policies and regulations. It involves the unbiased execution of laws and resolutions directed from upper echelons of government with the assurance for a uniformed fair treatment among members of government agencies notwithstanding of political or religious denominations. Political colors or parties that occupies cognizant positions in the different public organizations are given directives to the application of political neutrality in the disposition of their respective jobs. Public official serves the citizenry under a progressive platform of public service without prejudice to their advocacy. In relation to its civil aspects, there is a separation from the religious sector in dealing with the political principle of the state. There is also a provision that the military arm of the government shall be less compared to the civilian authority in dealing with the populace and that the civilian authority is deemed supreme over the military. Hence, in some instances, the military assumes a neutral position in any civilian conflict as provided for by the constitution or as directed by the head of the state as the case may be. In an overhead view, political neutrality relates to a certain country assuming such a stance and position by not meddling in any conflict between two warring nations and opts to offer the utilization of its seaports, airports and other facilities on condition with or without restrictions.
