Academic Success | 2014 Da Vinci Decathlon Teams This competition, which has developed over the years, sees both State Selective High Schools and leading Independent Schools entering teams of talented/gifted students in a competition that challenges the participants in a broad range of academic, intellectual and creative activities. The competition, as one can imagine, is quite fierce and to achieve a placing in one of the subcategories is a feat in itself, let alone to emerge as the best team in one of the Year groups. This year, Trinity again registered success as we have done in the recent past (2012, 2013) with our Year 7 team not only winning their English segment, but also managing to head off James Ruse in winning the Year 7 competition. Strong performances were also registered in our other teams, including: Year 5 (Prep): 3rd in Engineering Year 6 (Prep): (Second overall) 2nd in Art/Poetry, Cartography and General Knowledge. Year 7: (Overall Winners) 1st in English
