This song is mesmerizing to listen but also watch (Ustaad aamir Khan piece adds to the mystic of this song -- Producer was skeptical of commercial success -- Naushad charged 0 Rs saying he will take money if song succeeds -- Rafi also said the same thing -- :) REST is History!) - (3) Tu Is Taraha Se Meri Jindagi main shamil hain -- I like all 3 versions of this song in the order of Rafi, Hemlata and Manhar ---- amazing Gayaki -- sublime lyrics. - (4) Aawo Bachcho -- Aaj tumhe ek kahani sunata hun main (Mere Paasi Aawo mere dosato ek kissa suno) from Mr. Natwarlal.. Amitabhs beautiful voice (it became hevier in late 80s and 90s -- it was Nitaant-Sunder voice in the 70s and most of 80s. Amazing singing but WHAT an on-screen performance!!! Haa Bolo Hanuman Ki Jay -- ho jay jay bajrang bali ki jay..>!! - (5) Phaili hui hain sapano ki baahen -- aaaja chal de kaheen door (SD Burman Dada) and Lata magic -- I feel like flying if I close my eyes listening to this song! (House # 44) - (6) Yeh Mera Deewana Pun hain (Yahudi) Mukeshs dard-bhara voice and Dilip Saab again -- Dil Se tuzko -- Bedili hain -- Muzko hain dil ka guroor -- tu yeh maane ke na maane log maanenge jaroor...! - (7) Pehela Nasha -- This is sublime - right from chahe tum kuchh na kaho to Aamir dancing his with elder bro and then starting with the jump throwing his cap and sweater away - my classmate Rajesh Desai had searched all stores for weeks in Abad to get similar shirt Aamir had for that song...! :) - (8) Mai Ree - Lata version for sure but there is some KASHISH in the one sung by MadanMohan himself - can listen to this song all day long! - (9) Jaaiye Aap Kaha Jaayenge -- yeh Nazar laut ke phir aayegee -- Ashas evergreen voice and amazing pieces in between the stanzas -- Daler Had gone crazy with those pieces in the singing competition show and then Shekhar or Vishal explained how OP Nayyar saab recorded his songs in ONE SHOT -- ! (OP Saab my MOST favorite Music director!) - (10) Aaane wala pul jaane waala hain -- Kishores evergreen THROW and consistency of voice and loooong breath evident in this one -- hear it as many times as you want and still it will sound FRESH -- It was difficult to let go of IK ROZ main Tadapkar from Bemisal from this list!!
