Accident at Kalar Khar Motor Way. CHAKWAL :Seven persons were killed and 16 others received multiple injuries when a Faisalabad-bound bus turned turtle here at Salt Range area on Friday afternoon at Lahore-Islamabad Motorway. The driver of the ill-fated bus bearing registration number SSA 5676 lost control when it entered Salt Range near village Pir Khara and it collided with the wall of motorway and skidded to other side which blocked the motorway. Those who were killed included Iqrar Shafqat, Jhang, Umer Ali, Jhang, Mahnoor, Samundri Faisalabad, Niamiat Hayat. Two dead bodies were yet to be identified till filing of this report. The rescue teams rushed towards the spot and shifted the dead bodies and the injured to the District Headquarter Hospital Chakwal. Emergency was declared in hospital and the doctors provided medical assistance to the injured. Motorway sources told that the accident occurred due to break failure.
