According to City Clerk Mary Happel, three people have signed up for the aldermanic seats that are open. Incumbent Hadyn Powell has signed up for the East side, while Joe Shelton and Kenny Nash have signed up for the West side. Signups will continue until January 20th at the City Administrative Offices during regular business hours. There is a $25 filing fee. Citizens wishing to run for office must be at least 21-years of age, be a US Citizen and must have lived in the ward you intend to serve for at least one year.
