According to a report, last week Elenita Go of SMC bringing with her some personnel from their head office in Manila arrived here in ALECO and had meetings with APEC/SMC. In the said meeting it was said that APEC/SMC will end their Concession Contract if the next three (3) months operation continue to decline as it was ever since they took over the operation because of unreliable services, erroneous billings, lies, deceit and unfulfilled promises and evidently PRIVATIZATION is a failure. AMSSO statement regarding the updates is that it is better for APEC/SMC to pull out earlier because the debts grows by the day and APEC/SMC have no liabilities anytime they choose to depart. The Consumers groups “NO PAYMENT TO APEC” campaign proved to be effective. Therefore, we are all urges to join the said campaign for earlier departure of APEC and reclaim our Cooperative from this illegal APEC/SMC. Meanwhile, the new IBOD of Atty Bartolome Rayco and the consumer group of Commo Dante Jimenez are preparing the alternative solution to revive ALECO from this worst man made calamity in case APEC/SMC cut their contract.
