According to class of the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament at Trinity Western University, a professor suggested the possibility that this book was written among different authors from the Kingdom of Judea in Israel during the different period of time. The first one was written during the pre-exilic period (before the Babylonian captivity in 587 BC) for the Kingdom of Judah that was facing the threat of Assyrian Empire in the late 8th Century BC in order to point the rise of upcoming Messiah and warning against Judah’s alliance with Egypt, the second one was written during the exilic period from 587-538 for the Kingdom of Judah who was facing the treat of Babylonian Empire in order to point out the rise of the great Messiah, King Cyrus of Persia (Christian believes it also implies Jesus Christ), who was chosen by Almighty God and liberated the Israelites from Babylonian captivity, and third one was written after the post-exilic period for the Kingdom of Judah who returned to Jerusalem due to the decree of liberation enacted by the King Cyrus or Persia. Although the book of author was unified in the name of Isaiah, this book was developed during the several stage in the history of the ancient Israel for the purpose of showing the divine oracle of God in the Israelites in the Kingdom of Judah the oracle so that they might fully obey His command.
