According to my good friend Sabby, Sabyasachi Chatterjee (I know him for years, we studied together in med school), there is a saying in Malda, a district in Bengal, that someone who doesn’t like mangoes, music and flowers is a killer. I don’t know about you, I don’t like mangoes, and I am not a killer, but I kill time very well doing nothing. The skies are overcast, the ‘kaal boishakhis’ are probably going to descend on the earth, I am not in a killing mood, I am on the threshold of going mad with delight.
