According to our sources, the Envoys of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federations Command have arrived today at the logistics battalion of the Ukrainian Navy (military base A2904). Base commander, Lieutenant colonel Sadovnyk was presented with an ultimatum specifying three possible options for their further actions: 1. The battalion personnel receive financial assistance from the Russians in the amount of 4,000 Hryvnyas [$410] and withdraw to the territory of mainland Ukraine. 2. The base personnel dissolve their contract with the Defense Ministry of Ukraine and remain to work as civilian personnel under the patronage of the Russian Federation, for which they are promised a monthly salary in the amount of 2,700 Hryvnyas [$277]. 3. Servicemen simultaneously make two reports, one of which is their resignation from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the second one is their request to serve in the Armed Forces of Russia. In response to the Russians, the base Command declared their loyalty to the Oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine. Russians promised to return in a few hours.
