According to released information by the International Monetary Fund, China overtook the United States based on purchasing power parity (PPP). Chinas GDP will reach $17.6 trillion in comparison with the $17.4 trillion of the United States. However, despite the talk of many of the declinists, there is more in the wing than meets the eye that the Chinese economy faces in the coming decades, just as the United States does. Even so, speaks to the economic ineptitude of our leaders here in the U.S. that such a thing has taken place. At the end of the day, things dont remain in a state of consistency when it comes to economics...therefore predictions will always more than likely be useless at the end of the day.
