According to reports in the Spanish press, Chelsea winger Marko Marin will have talks with Sevilla manager Unai Emery regarding his future in the coming weeks. The German international has been on a season loan with La Liga side Sevilla and at the moment he is keen to remain in Spain. Marca have reported this morning that Sevilla are weighing up whether to make the deal a permanent one. Marin only showed glimpses of what he can do last season and the Spanish club are concerned about him maintaining his performance levels throughout the next campaign. However a positive sign for Marin is that he has just been included in the 19 man squad to travel to Indonesia for the LFP Asia tour. It has been claimed that once they return from the Far East then the German will sit down and discuss with Emery where they go from here and whether he will be offered a contract to stay in Spain. Given the number of options available to Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho it looks likely they will try to offload Marin in the summer transfer window. With the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian at his disposal Mourinho looks to be covered in the wide positions. Marin himself has spoken about his happiness in playing for Sevilla and Marca believe he wants to stay. Marin has lost his place in the Germany squad and knows he needs to kick start his career by playing regular first team football. He will realise he is unlikely to get this with Chelsea and therefore will need to move on in the summer.
