According to the breakout of opponents in 2015, it looks like Pittsburgh is going to be coming to Seattle for one of their away games. Unfortunately, it doesnt seem like well know the DATE for the game until they promulgate the schedule (supposedly in spring), but in any case, 2004 was the last time I got to see my guys in person up in Seattle. We regrettably lost that game, but it was still pretty awesome seeing more black and gold in the stands than the blue and silver. Admittedly, since Seattle has pulled in their fair share of band-wagon fans since winning a Super Bowl, probably wont be able to outnumber the local colors. However, as we all know, weve got one of the greatest fan bases in sports and we make EVERY game a home game. Anyway, heres a thought. If there are any others in the group (or friends, family, fellow fans in the area) that may also be intending to go to the Steelers vs Seahawks game in 2015, perhaps we could start planning a group trip to the game. Do the whole schlemiel....maybe rent a bus, go up and have an awesome tailgate party before the game, then represent our boys in the stands as we try to drown out the 12th man. Regardless, I know Ill be going and representing. Would love to see that stadium bathed in black and gold again. :-)
