According to the resident, the attending wants to trial her in order to get a base line...because the attending is new to her case...UHM REALLY!? Forget the fact that she doesnt need it! And is pulling it off her own face as I type this! Liv hates it! Shes only been here for, 3 FREAKING WEEKS. Thats not a big enough or long enough base line for you!? Shes been taking 80ml every feed, which is 20ml more than what they originally had planned! Shes having episodes, but coming out of them immediately! This is my baby, I know what she needs. And I know that unless she NEEDS oxygen, leave her alone! The doctors have admitted that at this point, the nurses are really just babysitting. They arent doing anything for her! She is only on half a liter of oxygen anyway...all of the nurses have told us that its basically NOTHING. So essentially, they are using my baby as a trial because theyd rather piss her off instead of actually reading her chart and actually be proactive and find out whats wrong with my daughter. BEYOND furious. They have said on more than one occasion that she doesnt need it. Im trying so hard to be calm, but this is RIDICULOUS!
