According to the scholars the word Quran has fifty-five other names which are mentioned in various Quranic verses Examples are: Al-Majid, Which means “The glorious”. Al-Haq, Which means”The Truth”. Al-Khair, which means”The Goodness”. Al-Rehmat, which means”The Mercy”. Al-Hikmat, which means”The Wisdom”. Allah revealed the Quran from time to time according to the changing situation and the requirements of the young Muslim community. Quran is the complete code of life and provides guidance in all spheres of life. DIVISION OF QURAN: The Quran is divided into 114 Chapters which are arranged according to the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)’s direction. The longest surah of the Holy Quran is Surah Baqarah while Surah Kausar is the shortest one. All Surahs, with exception of the last thirty-five are divided into sections which are called Ruku, each section generally deals with one subject. Every Chapter of Quran starts with “In The Name Of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful” except Surah Taubah.
