According to this headline, Obama jilts his own party by siding with Republicans in pushing for a trade agreement that would destroy American jobs. Jilting is a nice way of saying flying in the face of what his party used to represent before he brought it to the middle. In fact, Im sure hes thrilled to be working with the new Republican majority in both houses on ramming this secret TPP through on a fast-track.--because Democrats are the only ones objecting to it. Again, Obama the Democrat acting like a Republican. We have two parties both pushing the same agenda: screw workers in favor of international businesses. Dont give me your Blame the black guy who has to clean up Bushs mess crap on this one. This is a mess which Obama is actively seeking to ram through in secret with the help of Republicans. Its a mess which started under Bush that Obama is doing his best to continue. He serves big business, never the average American. Ask Hillary if she supports the TPP. Corporate Democrats like Obama and Hillary are Republican lites. Its disgraceful that we have to choose between two parties who both want to shaft average Americans. President Obama is preparing a major push on a vast free-trade zone that seeks to enlist Republicans as partners and test his premise that Washington can still find common ground on major initiatives. It also will test his willingness to buck his own party in pursuit of a legacy-burnishing achievement.
