According to translations of the Kono speech, Tam Baryoh is talking about the death of a particular person through paranormal (Juju) means for which him and the other Kono speaker on the phone, should not attend the funeral of the person whose death was impending from ‘Juju’. Those who have listened to the secret recording of Tam Baryoh, say it is “explosive” especially the areas which directly reference President Ernest Bai Koroma. One such area cites one “Finda” whose “big sister” gave her some confidential information about President Koroma’s recent visit to Congo this month. (CULLED FROM AWARENESS TIMES LEAD OF 28 MARCH 2014. THE FULL TEXT FOLLOWS BELOW) -------- As Police to Question Tam Baryoh over Secret Voice Recording... Government Lawyers to Represent Sylvia Blyden in Tam Baryoh’s Case “Dr. Blyden is a very senior government official working in close collaboration with His Excellency the President at State House. Her executive mandate from the President includes countering criminal attempts to defame the Ernest Koroma government. As a result, she will enjoy the fullest possible support from the Office of the Attorney-General in the lawsuit filed by David Tam Baryoh,” said a Senior State Counsel last evening as he confirmed that the Attorney General Frank Kargbo has instructed for Government lawyers to represent all interests of Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden, the Special Executive Assistant to the President, in the civil lawsuit filed by local journalist David Tam Baryoh. This information that Law Officers Department will be representing the SEA in that matter, was also confirmed by competent sources within the Judiciary who revealed that government lawyers have been waiting “for over one week now” for Lawyer Ansu Lansana to file a “Particulars of Statement of Claim” but to no avail. The fact is that despite all the noise he has been making in the media, Tam Baryoh’s lawyer is yet to complete filing his legal paperwork. What is currently filed is a single A-4 paper on which is typed just two sentences. Many lawyers have told this newspaper that they are amused at the state of affairs for what many have called a frivolous, vexatious and idle lawsuit. For example, most amazingly, one of reasons for which Tam Baryoh is suing is because this paper published the Official Government Ministry of Defence press statement about Tam Baryoh’s notoriety over his Monologue programme. Meanwhile, whilst Dr. Blyden is being represented by Government Lawyers from the Attorney-Generals Office, the Awareness Times Newspaper itself and its acting editor are being represented by Jenkins Johnston & Co. Law Firm. In a related note, competent police sources say the Criminal Investigations Department of the Police, will soon be inviting Tam Baryoh for “hot questioning” in relation to a secret phone recording in which he is heard speaking in Kono language to someone on the phone.
