As a result, she will enjoy the fullest possible support from the Office of the Attorney-General in the lawsuit filed by David Tam Baryoh,” said a Senior State Counsel last evening as he confirmed that the Attorney General Frank Kargbo has instructed for Government lawyers to represent all interests of Dr. Sylvia Olayinka Blyden, the Special Executive Assistant to the President, in the civil lawsuit filed by local journalist David Tam Baryoh. This information that Law Officers Department will be representing the SEA in that matter, was also confirmed by competent sources within the Judiciary who revealed that government lawyers have been waiting “for over one week now” for Lawyer Ansu Lansana to file a “Particulars of Statement of Claim” but to no avail. The fact is that despite all the noise he has been making in the media, Tam Baryoh’s lawyer is yet to complete filing his legal paperwork. What is currently filed is a single A-4 paper on which is typed just two sentences. Many lawyers have told this newspaper that they are amused at the state of affairs for what many have called a frivolous, vexatious and idle lawsuit.
