Accountancy training begins THOUBAL, Mar 11:A one month residential training course on Accountancy and Book Keeping for Border Area Village Authorities of Chandel district was inaugurated today at REACH-M Training centre hall, Nungourok village in Chandel district. The training programme was organised by Rural Education & Action for Change, Manipur (REACH-M) under the sponsorship of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Chandel under Border Area Development Programme 2012-2013 as a part of Skills Development programme. During the month long training, resource persons from REACH -M Finance Team, State Academy Training (SAT) Imphal, Action Aid Association (AAA) North East Region Guwahati and Charter Auditors will impart the village leaders of Border Area of Chandel District on Accountancy and Book Keeping. While speaking as the chief guest of the inaugural function, Modhuchandra Singh, Research Assistant of District Planning Office Chandel said that the main objective of organising the training is to enhance skills and knowledge of account maintenance for improving the implementation of developmental schemes.
