Accreditation for 2014 Glo-CAF Awards Gala The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) is pleased to announce that the media accreditation process for the 2014 Glo-CAF Awards Gala opens from Tuesday, 30 December 2014 and closes on Monday, 5 January 2015. The Awards Gala will take place on Thursday, 8 January 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria. The award categories include African Player of The Year, African Player of The Year (Based in Africa); National Team of The Year; Club of The Year; and Coach of The Year. Other categories are Women’s National Team of The Year; Women’s Footballer of The Year; Most Promising Talent; Referee of The Year; Legend of The year; Fair Play Award; Platinum Award (which has only one nominee); and Africa Finest XI. Interested media personnel are to fill the attached form and include a scanned copy of their press cards to the following e-mail: mediachannel@cafonline. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information on the collection of their tags. Furthermore, please be advised that international applicants are responsible for securing their own visas to Nigeria.
