Pescalis Peg 94 had two fish disqualified at the end of the event due to breaking of Rule G04 - Marshals not notified after the capture of a carp, only notified after three carp had been landed, therefore breaking said rule. The two biggest carp out of the three were therefore disqualified. World Carp Classic takes its rules very seriously and competitors should always check they understand before competing. Carp Madness Peg 16, a 19 kilo+ carp disqualified due to the team trying to weigh it in twice within a matter of hours. Clearly the same fish, and therefore Head Marshall allowed the fish only once. World Carp Classic will look at all catches and treat attempted cheating very seriously. Fairplay, honesty and good sportsmanship should be first and foremost amongst carp anglers around the world.
