Achievement unlocked : IATSE On Set Dresser Position. After 4 years of doing this position within my department exclusively, the last 2 years exclusively in IATSE, finally Im officially recognized and listed as a certified on set dresser within the film union. This is a hella specialized category and frankly took me a damn long time to work up to, and Im kinda crazy stoked to finally have nailed this down. Totally popping some champagne when I get home from the department meeting where it went down. To my many friends in the set dec department who were there to night, and to the people in the department who trusted me enough to hire me as an on set dresser along the way, and most especially to a certain designer named James Hazell who dragged me into the position some 4 years ago on a little show called The Haunting Hour saying I was perfect for the job, THANK YOU!!
