Acqualagna was born in the small village of Montefalco castle. Aqualagna is the capital of the Truffle for its two thirds of national production of the precious tuber, which are available in different varieties. Acqualagna is located along the ancient Via Flaminia, and is surrounded by places of rare natural beauty and architecture, such as the Natural Reserve of Furlo. In the village you can visit the archaeological museum municipal Pitinum Mergens, which displays the artifacts of an ancient Roman villa. The territory is rich in forests and nature trails where there are red deer, the Apennine wolf, deer, mountain swallow, woodpecker and the eagle that may have seen circling in the sky. The National Truffle Fair is held between late October and early November to February is the Regional Fair of black truffle and summer than the black truffle.
