Act Of Destruction *The idea and name were conceived as mere children, raised by a community of musicians in true Chicago Southside fashion. Metal Brothers John and Nigel Bravo have been listening to Metal since they were born and have always held it as a guaranteed way to escape the brutal realities of the filthy south suburbs. It is just so undeniably satisfying to experience music put together in this way that they couldn’t help but completely immerse themselves in it. 2007 saw the start of the idea beginning to manifest physically, as the two instigated public performances with a drum machine. Quickly drawing attention, Glenn Mendoza was recruited utilizing the internet. Bringing Ed Ingram into the family, Mendoza allowed the group to engage in weekly Sonic Destruction of large audiences, including sold out performances at The Pearl Room, legendary for providing Chicagoans with an elite Metal experience. Instantly recognized as well, was the band’s ability to capture and hold the complete room’s attention during a performance, allowing them to bring everybody to complete Aural Satisfaction at once, stated by fans to be, “Bringing the glory back to Metal!”
