Acting Disaster Coordinator at the National Disaster Management Agency, Samantha Dickson, is encouraging people to continue to report incidence of landslides in prone areas around the island. This morning residents reported numerous mudslides and flooding especially in the river road area and in Balthazar, St. Andrew as a result of the tropical wave. She said according to reports received from the metrological office, the weather system can affect the island throughout tonight and tomorrow morning. The Acting Disaster Coordinator said people should report any further incidence of flooding and landslides. She said this can either be done through the nearest police station or individual disaster committees.
