Acting through faith For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. (Psa 62:1) Definition of ACT : the doing of a thing : something done voluntarily My soul, praise the LORD! Every part of me, praise his holy name! My soul, praise the LORD and never forget how kind he is! He forgives all our sins and heals all our sicknesses. He saves us from the grave, and he gives us love and compassion. (Psa 103:1-4) Jan 31 2014 There are four steps for a vital healthy relationship with God. 1. Take the time to get alone with Him and wait upon Him. 2. Praising God for who He is and all His awesomeness. 3. Thanking Him for all He has done in His faithfulness for you. 4. Step out in faith and in obedience to what the Spirit is doing, begin to worship the Lord your God. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psa 100:4-5) When you get alone with the Lord it positions you to receive from the Spirit vital nutrients needed to sustain a healthy spiritual life… When you praise God for who He is, your spirit is breaking out of the box… Through thanksgiving for what the Lord has done, you are positioning yourself in humility before the Father… Worship isn’t the same as praise it is an act of obedience produced from faith, it is saying to God, “Yes Lord!” In spite of what is happening around you. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. (Joh 4:23-24) Pray about it…
