Action alert by ECCP, Brussels Dear all, The EU led Mission for growth is taking place in Tel Aviv now. We sent a letter to the European companies endorsed by Richard Falk couple days ago to discourage them from participating in the project and cooperating with Israeli participants based in settlements: eccpalestine.org/european-companies-urged-to-abandon-eu-led-mission-for-growth-project/ As far as we know no information was given by the EU to the European companies involved in project about risk related with trading with Israeli settlements. After publishing warnings to business by France it looks like there is a momentum to push the EU to issue their own warnings as well. After a pressure from Israel related to publishing guidelines last year the EU doesnt want to be on the forefront of any measures against Israel. Request: It would be useful if you could post a comments at the EU delegation to Israel fanpage with demands to the EU to publish warnings to business and ask questions about their cooperation with Israeli companies complicit in settlement activity under the EU led Mission for growth project.
