Action in inaction While being in the material world everyone must do something in order to survive. This is an inevitable reality. One who aspires to achieve success in spiritual life cannot simply sit down and do nothing, especially in Kali-yuga when the mind is always disturbed. But the Lord expains with what kind of mentality we must carry on our daily activities. He says: “Work done as a sacrifice for Viṣṇu has to be performed; otherwise work causes bondage in this material world.
