On December 1, 2013 I lost another friend to the death angel but its appointed on to man once to died and after death comes the judgement. This chapter is specially dedicated to the the Dyer family who lost their dad @ 3:00 a.m. today. I pray that the Lord will console and strengthen them during this time of bereavement. On November 24, 1971, a man known today as D.B. Cooper hijacked a commercial flight between Portland and Seattle by threatening to blow up the plane unless he received $200,00. After landing to receive a ransom, he ordered the plane back into the air. Then the rear stairs the 727 aircraft were lowered, and he parachuted, and the case is still unsolved. This act hastened the age of the airport security in which trust and confidence have been replaced by suspicion and fear. What he did affected us all. The bible describes two actions that changed the world in a far more significant way. Through Adams choice, sin and death entered the world, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned (Rom. 5:12). But through Christs sacrifice on the cross, god provided a remedy for the results of sin. through one mans (ADAM) offence judgement came to men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one mans (Christ) righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life Christ did what no one else could do when he broke the power of sin and death by his resurrection. He offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who will accept his gift. And for that, we thank him with all our hearts..... The cross of Christ can cure the condemnation of Adams choice. Dear Heavenly father Today we give thanks for life and that we may have it more abundantly, We exalt your holy name because you alone is worthy Jesus. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and make us holy. Thank you for your compassion and protection in our lives, create in us a heart like thine, and help us to draw closer to you Lord. A special dedication to the families that are mourning today because death stole their love ones but Lord we are comforted by the words that they are gone to a place of rest and that one day soon they will meet again. Today I lost another friend to the death angel but I am comforted by the happy memories of his life on earth. He batted well age (94) now the batton is handed down to his children. We celebrate his life as a man of god, he is gone to a place of rest . May his soul rest in perfect peace and perpetual light may shine. He left a legacy to his children, R.I.P.
