Actions to be undertaken by Albay Pdrrmc and Apsemo Pdrrmc under Alert Level 2 for Mayon Volcano: -Monitoring 1. Evaluate communication capability and equipment; 2. Surveillance of population at risk at 6km radius PDZ and 6-8km buffer zone in the SE quadrant and economic displacement in 8-10kms 3. Notification of PDRRMC Chairman and MDRRMCs; 4. PDRRMC Emergency Meeting for member agencies and MDRRMC concerned; 5. Press Briefing and issuance of Press Release; 6. Issuance of Mayong Volcano Updates from PHIVOLCS; 7. Public Awareness campaign by PHIVOLCS and PDRRMC in Brgys within the 6km PDZ 8. Readiness of residents outside the PDZ but inside the HRZ of Legazpi City, Daraga, Sto Domingo and other areas as may be recommended by PHIVOLCS 9. Preparedness requirements beyond the local capabilities may be requested for support form the NDRRMC thru the RDRRMC; 10. Conduct aerial survey.
