Actor Brad Pitt was present for a special promotional screening for his new film, “World War Z” at the AMC River East theaters Thursday night. With a full house, Pitt walked into the theater to screaming fans, throwing T-shirts and even talking to the crowd before the film began. In addition to Chicago, Pitt also made appearances in Atlanta and Philadelphia earlier Thursday. Pitt plays a United Nations staffer in the film, which is about a race against time as a pandemic threatens to wipe out the human race. “World War Z” opens June 21st nationally. via WGNTV
