Actor Pierce Brosnan said that he hoped for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing Ukrainian conflict while presenting his new thriller November Man in Moscow on Wednesday. The actor said that the films release - the story of an ex-CIA agent competing in a deadly game against the Russian president-elect - was a confluence of time. Brosnan also commented on the upcoming Scottish independence referendum, saying that he wished the Scots the best should they vote to leave the United Kingdom. Pierce Brosnan: Its just a confluence of time that we have this movie coming out and the issues of politics and whats happening in the Ukraine and this movie - it was not our intention. Its just the way it is. And it is a deeply heartfelt moment in history for you all here, and for people back in America as well to see whats going on. I would hope for peace; I would hope that things will get resolved... Well I think, I wish all the Scots the very best if that is what they wish then I hope, if they get their independence, that they are happy with it and that I wish them the best.
