Actor Sir Ian McKellen, a.k.a Gandalf the Grey, a.k.a Gandalf the White, was reportedly seen in Reykjavík earlier today. Speculation is rampant (amongst the Grapevine team) as to what he might be doing in Iceland. Unsubstantiated claims are abound that he is here in a magical capacity to battle a pesky re-emergence of Sauron who may or may not be attempting to breach our mortal plane through the Holuhraun eruption.
