The Festival of Halloween means different things to different people. To some it represents witchcraft in various forms, to others it is just some harmless fun. There is even the argument that Halloween is connected historically to the Christian faith…. Will you and your church be celebrating Halloween or providing an alternative? A quarter of all annual sweet sales in the US have reportedly occurred at Halloween. Is the day just some harmless fun that christians should or is there something deeper in the festival? Should Christians mix their faith with secular activities? Is Halloween a great opportunity to evangelise by providing an alternative to it?
