Actors Playhouse will hold auditions for the play, TIME STANDS STILL By Donald Margulies, which will be presented at the Mississippi Theatre Association Community Festival Competition in Vicksburg the weekend of January 18th. THE STORY: TIME STANDS STILL focuses on Sarah and James, a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent trying to find happiness in a world that seems to have gone crazy. Theirs is a partnership based on telling the toughest stories, and together, making a difference. But when their own story takes a sudden turn, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life. THE CHARACTERS: Sarah Goodwin - a photojournalist, late 30s - mid-40s James Dodd - a freelance journalist, late 30s - mid-40s Richard Ehrlich - a photo editer - early 50s - early 60s Mandy Bloom - an event planner - early 20s **Festival dues are $55.00 per participant. THE AUDITIONS: Auditions will be held on Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30pm. There will be a cold read from the script. The play will be directed by Lavonne Bruckner. Rehearsals will be held in December and early January. Scripts may be purchased at dramatists if you would like to read the script in advance. You can purchase an eScript for your perusal.
