Actors have a different viewpoint of the world than a shoeshine - TopicsExpress

Actors have a different viewpoint of the world than a shoeshine man has. Often the shoeshine man shines shoes because he doesnt fit in main stream society. Hes different. He sees the world differently, because few people try to impress him or stroke him. He seldom appreciates the flatters or the sycophants. Hes often a straight shooter but kind, though some do have a attitude. On the other hand many actors need praise and followers, which means they want people to like them. People who want people to like them say what people want to hear or just keep quite. Morgan freeman has a viewpoint that a shoeshine man could never have. Why? Because we shoe-shiners are aware that inequality has touched all the races in this country. Anyone ever hear of the 1%? From that viewpoint maybe hes right, they are now ripping us all off. Inequality is touching most of us. Then again I know that Mr. Morgan freeman has a rare gift, he is special and is a great actor. As most of us will never be able to sing like Whitney Huston, few us will be in demand as Mr. Freeman is. Even fewer of us will be like Donald Trump or those brothers whose name sounds like the Coke brothers. You know the billionaire brothers. They understand even better than the shoe-shine man. They helped write the rules of the game, or had a part in writing them. Of course, I know that having the gift is just the first part, you do have to cultivate the gift though hard work and time. And maybe that is what he is talking about. Some of us have the gift but havent developed it to its full measure. Shame on us! As he says race has nothing to do with it, and in some case true. But having the gift, and support from the right people has everything to do with it. We all should be so fortunate, or be at the right place at the right time, with the right talents. In the key of G! Im just saying!
