Acts 4:31-35 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold. And laid them down at the apostles feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. This is the true church. Do you see this in the body of Christ today? First of all, they were all praying together outside of a church and were filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke the word of God with boldness. They didnt even need a pulpit for that to happen. Imagine that! They were all of one heart and one soul....now that is unity. Have you seen much of that? All of those that possessed houses and land sold them and brought the money to the apostles, and did it say that the apostles bought themselves jets, boats, mansions, beach property, fine suits, etc???? Did they give the money to the church? Did the apostles take their salaries out first? No, the apostles distributed to each man AS HE HAD NEED. Not want, but need. What is wrong with the believers of today? Why cant we be of one heart and one soul and take care of each others needs as we are able? Why cant we pray for and with one another? We are SO far from the New Testament Church. We dont even closely resemble it. We have got to let go of traditions, schemes of men, lies, falsehoods, egos, idol worship of leaders and churches and get back to doing it Gods way. Then we will see multitudes repenting and following Jesus again. His way is the only way.
