Acts 7:59…You would expect the world to accept, joyfully, the message of salvation. It is obviously the most needed and important message of all times. It shouldn’t have priority only because of its content, but because of who sent it: God! But it is rejected by the majority. The majority isn’t even willing to sit down and analyze the message. With repugnance, it lifts its nose in the air and belittles the only hope of obtaining eternal life. When this happens, many times who pays the price of serving said message, becomes the recipient of the repugnant rage of the majority. Name for me, if you can, one group that has been attacked more than those who stand firmly for the teachings and principles of God. You can’t. But, this shouldn’t surprise us, because the Master has told us it would be this way. Our Bro. Stephen (former deacon in Jerusalem), was the recipient of what I’m sharing today. The good thing, is that he had personally prepared himself and while being stoned by the crowd, set an excellent example in his death. Family; There is a price to pay for serving Jesus, for delivering the message of salvation to the world. Woe unto us if our love for God and lost souls doesn’t outweigh the cost of the price to be paid. We have to personally prepare ourselves, seeking strength from on high, to fulfill the most important mission in all the world.
