Acts 8:26- Led by the spirit. Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place. This is the higher calling, this is the Anointing of the Evangelistic Heart that God As the angel appeared throughout the bible, we can see the “the angel of the Lord” is never mentioned in the New Testament after the birth of Christ. It is possible that appearances of the angel of the Lord were manifestations of Jesus before His incarnation. Jesus declared Himself to be existent “before Abraham” (John 8:58), so it is logical that He would be active and manifest in the world. When Philip was done in Samaria God led his direction by the angel. He worked with the apostles and the church, yet he was led by the Lord.Acts 8:27-28 So he started out, and he met the treasurer of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under the Kandake, the queen of Ethiopia. The eunuch had gone to Jerusalem to worship, and he was now returning. Seated in his carriage, he was reading aloud from the book of the prophet Isaiah. When God spoke to Philip as he would speak to us, it is important to head what the Lord says, but understand the wise counsel of your authority and covering in your ministry. As Philip was led, and did not ask permission from man, he was accountable to the authority that he ministered under. God had placed these men over him, but ultimately led Philip by the Angel of the Lord. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us in all truth, yet he gave us the gifting in many, and many gifts to all, that we would work hand in hand, that we would be a working body, so that as God gave his Son, so that we could be the body, in actuality it was the manifestation in the natural what Christ is doing in the spirit, to bring the fullness of Christ of himself, God through his word, Jesus, then coming to the fullness in us manifesting once again as the full Godhead on earth in the last days. He gave his body, so that we could work in it, and God will redeem and restore his Kingdom, by the second coming of the Lord, and then we shall come into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, joined together in perfection and truth.
